In the small town of Brezovo, the birthplace of one of Bulgaria’s most respected artists, Zlatyu Boyadzhiev, has been given new life — thanks to Sadina’s commitment to preserving culture and community.

Zlatyu Boyadzhiev, born in 1903, is celebrated for his expressive portraits and landscapes that capture the spirit of rural Bulgaria. His story is one of resilience and creativity — even after a stroke left his dominant hand paralyzed, he taught himself to paint again, creating a remarkable second body of work.

A House Worth Saving

Over the years, the artist’s birth house in Brezovo had fallen into disrepair. When Sadina learned about its condition, the idea of restoration quickly became a shared mission. This wasn’t just about renovating a building — it was about safeguarding a piece of Bulgarian history and supporting the local community that inspired Boyadzhiev’s art.

The restoration became a company-wide effort. Many members of Sadina’s team took part, contributing their time, skills, and care. What began as a project to save a structure soon turned into something much greater — a symbol of pride for Brezovo.

From a Family Home to a Cultural Hub

Once restored, the house opened on the 116th anniversary of Boyadzhiev’s birth. To ensure it continues to serve the community, Sadina helped establish the Creative Center – Zlatyu Boyadzhiev’s Native House, a local NGO that now manages the site. The Center has since grown into a vibrant cultural and educational space. It hosts exhibitions, workshops, and creative programs that bring people together — artists, students, and residents alike. The goal is simple: to keep culture alive, to inspire creativity, and to make sure future generations know where it all began.
